Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I hope that you are celebrating the birth of Christ throughout the festivities of these holidays. Jesus is the reason we celebrate this season of giving because of the Gift of God's son to us. 2018 has been an up and down this year for many whether you are looking at your retirement savings and investments, political affiliations, or in many cases health of yourself, family, friends or co-workers. We pray that 2019 be a rising year for you. The wisdom of the word encourages and informs us that God has plans for His people - Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV), "For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."  Don't get into the habit of half stepping. When you are inspired, give it your best. When God calls you to do something by revealing a need or opportunity to serve others, don't stiffen your neck, but yield to the Spirit's empowerment. You can and will rise above the past and excel into the future. God's promises of blessings are tied to your humble obedience to Him. He promises to lift you up, transform your being and prosper all that you do when done in His name. This means you must plan for success now. You must facilitate the resources and capabilities required to implement the plan. You must walk in faith with expectation and not doubt. Therefore, let's celebrate 2019 starting now, because of our expected end.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
